Mark Rubeo, PhD student for Tony Schmitz, was selected to receive a Student Scholarship Award to attend the 31st American Society for Precision Engineering (ASPE) Annual Meeting on October 23-28, 2016 in Portland, OR.
At the conference, Mark presented his paper “Experimental Platform for Chip Formation and Cutting Force Measurement in Orthogonal Turning.” The award included a waiver of the conference registration fee, four free tutorials, and a $1000 honorarium for travel and lodging expenses.
