Answers to frequently asked questions are provided for your convenience.

Q. Is college/university course credit available for completing the ACE CNC machining training program?

A. Not at this time. However, students who complete the online training receive 0.6 continuing education units (CEUs).

Q. Is it possible to join the program if I’m only able to complete the online component (due to travel or other restrictions)?

A. Yes, there is sufficient value in the online component to justify completing it alone.

Q. Is travel support provided for the in-person component?

A. Travel support is not currently provided for the boot camps.

Q. Do I need to have machining experience to join the program?

A. No machining experience is required. The online training assumes no prior knowledge. Those with machining experience can still benefit from the program, however, including the Introduction to machining dynamics.

Q. What is the time commitment?

A. The online component includes approximately six hours of instruction through fourĀ  modules. The optional in-person component is one week.

Q. How do I register?

A. Registration is completed online.

Q. How do I obtain Fusion 360 if I am not a student or instructor?

A. For participants who are not current students, you can obtain access to Fusion 360 by requesting the free trial version.
