Competition day for MEGR 3156: Junior Design was held at Bass Pro Shops, Concord, NC on 4/28/16. The project defined by Tony Schmitz was an automated fishing pole casting robot; 14 teams with 98 total team members competed for distance and accuracy.
A “Shark Tank” presentation was also completed by each team to a panel of Charlotte-area business leaders to teach entrepreneurial skills.
