Dr. Schmitz and his co-authors received the Best Paper Award at the AIAA Spring Symposium Series on Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing held (virtually) March 23-24, 2020 in Palo Alto, CA. The paper title was Physics-Guided Machine Learning for Self-Aware Machining and the authors were: N. Greis, M. Nogueira, S. Bhattacharya, and T. Schmitz.
