PhD student Michael Gomez received the 2019 Outstanding Graduate Research Assistant award from the UNC Charlotte Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Science department. This award recognizes a student of distinction from those who conduct research under the supervision of department faculty.
PhD student Ryan Copenhaver received the Outstanding Service to the Department award for his teaching efforts in the undergraduate machining program. The ceremony was held on Friday, May 10.
